There are 72 days left this year, 72??? That’s hard to believe, as it was just September but time does disappear once August ends so can’t say I’m surprised.
The past week has been hard on me, I’ve wanted to work on all my little businesses but it’s been really hard, I got myself into a rut. Out of nowhere today I got my spark back, I don’t know what happened but I’m going to take advantage of it and not waste the momentum.
I feel like I have a lot of dreams and goals and I would like to achieve them but sometimes it’s hard to stay committed. I know for myself that as soon as time begins to change I get this little bug to work and I want to start all of these things and sometimes I get distracted, I also besides last year have suffered with seasonal depression. Last year I faced some trauma and in some way I was able to enjoy winter and Christmas for the first time in several years.
So to help guide myself I’ve decided to start a 75 hard, granted there’s only 72 days left this year so I’m only going to do 72 in hopes it’ll create a routine of the habits I want. If not in the new year we will try either another 75 or some other challenge.
My list:
For these next 72 days these are the habits I hope to develop. I am mixing a 75 hard/soft/Christian to hopefully hit all aspects of my
- Wake up at 6am
- 2 workouts a day (one an ab and/or arm workout and the second either running or biking)
- 8k steps a day
- Drink 11 cups of water a day
- Take my vitimins
- 1 prayer walk a day
- 5 pages of the bible a day
- Journal about the bible
- memorize 1 bible verse a week
- No sugar (exceptions are honey and special occasions)
- 1 post a day on socials
- 1 video a week on Youtube (I have 3)
- 1 crochet pattern a week
- 1 blog post a day
- Complete a daily todo list of at least 3 tasks unrelated to this challenge.
- Keep the house somewhat clean
- Do something daily to bond with Tucker
All of these things cover stuff I want to improve or have seen needed to be improved. I want to further my relationship with God but I struggle to make time. Waking up early would help me be a lot less stressed but I don’t do it because I like to snooze. Taking my vitamins, drinking water and avoiding sugar are all things I need to do to keep my brain from having seizures. Working out and walking a lot will aid in my future dreams and prevent the damage an office job can cause. The posting schedule for my content is important to me to hopefully reach the growth in the time I want it. And since my husband quit his job to focus on his business I’ve gotten a little more sad because we have less time together due him not needing to commute with me. I’m proud of him but sometimes I do miss him and I don’t know how to express it so instead I just become a cranky butt.
I feel like this is going to be a lot of fun and I am excited to start, half the things won’t be done today because I didn’t decide to do this till midday today but it’s okay.
Also I think adding color will help me enjoy things a lot more so get ready for the mess of color my posts are going to be lol.
